Michael Gray and Syrah Paul Added to GDOT Appraiser Roster
G. Randall Hammond & Co. is pleased to announce that Associates
Michael Gray and Syrah Paul have been added as Level 3
Appraisers to the Georgia DOT Approved Appraisal Roster.
Effective immediately, Syrah and Michael will begin managing
eminent domain projects and producing reports for their own
signature. All reports will continue to go through a rigorous,
multi-level, review process such that all GRHCo reports meet
quality expectations.

Craig Hammond Promoted to GRHCo Review Appraiser
G. Randall Hammond & Co. is pleased to announce that appraiser
and project manager Craig Hammond has been promoted to the
position of Review Appraiser within the firm. With over ten
years of appraisal experience producing reports for Georgia DOT
and other local governments and public-sector clients, Craig is
well-qualified for this position. While he will maintain his
own brokerage duties with Perimeter Atlanta Realty and continue
to produce appraisal reports on his own, he will help manage the
jobs and review reports completed by other GRHCo associates as
an additional tier of quality control within the organization.
This move was made in response to business volume and in
anticipation of Craig serving as an Appraiser of Record shortly.

Associates complete another Appraisal Institute course
G. Randall Hammond & Co. congratulates associates Spencer
Gordon, Syrah Paul, and Martinn Winters for recently completing
an upper-level Appraisal Institute Course. These three GRHCo
associates completed the Institute's Advanced Sales Comparison
and Cost Approaches Course in August 2006. Mr. Gordon is a
Registered Appraiser. Ms. Paul and Mr. Winters are Certified
General Appraisers and General Associate Members of the
Appraisal Institute in pursuit of the MAI designation.

Government projects completed
G. Randall Hammond & Co. is pleased to announce the successful
completion of two projects for the Transportation Division of
DeKalb County. The appraisals for one project were used
for negotiations and eminent domain proceedings necessary to
acquire the right-of-way for Phase II of the Lithonia Industrial
Boulevard Extension located near Lithonia. Appraisals for the
second project were used for negotiations and eminent domain
proceedings necessary for a sidewalk project at the North Druid
Hills/Clairmont Road intersection in Decatur.

Appraiser joins GRHCO staff
G. Randall Hammond & Co. welcomes Martinn Winters to our staff.
With over 30 years of experience in banking and real estate,
Martinn is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with 4
years of commercial appraisal experience, as well as a Licensed
Real Estate Broker. His experience includes appraisals and
feasibility studies for a variety of property types, including
apartment buildings, auto service facilities, convenience
stores, industrial buildings, office buildings, restaurants, and
shopping centers. He has specialized in the appraisal of vacant
land and residential subdivisions in the North Atlanta markets.
He is a General Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute and
is rapidly advancing through the requirements to become a
designated member. Martinn has a BA in Economics from the
University of Missouri, and an MBA in International Business
from George Washington University.

G. Randall Hammond & Co. welcomes Ginger Lord to our staff. With
over 16 years of experience in the real estate industry, Ginger
has 9 years of appraisal experience in both residential and
commercial valuations in the metropolitan Atlanta area. A
Certified General Appraiser, she has appraised a wide variety of
property types - including office, industrial, retail,
multi-family, auto-related and vacant land. Her previous
appraisal experience also includes serving as a supervisory
review appraiser and trainer in the residential sector. Prior to
entering the appraisal profession, she had 12 years experience
working for two different corporations that were major national
real estate franchisors.

Shelita is a 2001 graduate of the Indiana University where she
earned a Master of Business Administration degree. As part of
the Spelman College/Georgia Institute of Technology dual degree
program, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (cum
laude) and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering in 1994. She has
two years of appraisal experience, doing primarily lending
assignments, and is a State-Registered Real Estate Appraiser.
She is familiar with MS Office, MS Project, and Argus, and lives
in Cobb County.

G. Randall Hammond & Co. is pleased to announce the successful
completion of a high-profile appraisal contract for the Georgia
Department of Transportation. The appraisals were used for
negotiations and eminent domain proceedings necessary to acquire
the right-of-way necessary for the reconstruction of the Jones
Street Bridge near the Georgia Aquarium in Downtown Atlanta. The
new bridge will allow for better flow of vehicular and
pedestrian traffic between the Aquarium and Marietta Street
artery on the east with the Georgia World Congress Center and
Georgia Dome to the west.

Street Bridge over the Downtown Connector. When completed, the
new bridge will allow for better flow of vehicular and
pedestrian traffic between Midtown and Atlantic Station over
I-75/I-85. The new bridge will feature a median, two 15' wide
pedestrian sidewalks, and planted landscaping.

completes Appraisal Institute courses
G. Randall
Hammond & Co. congratulates associate Syrah Paul for recently
completing two Appraisal Institute Courses. Ms. Paul completed
Course 410 - Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal
Practice in November 2005. In May, she completed the
Institute's Course 510 - Advanced Income Capitalization. She
is a Certified General Appraiser and a General Associate Member
of the Appraisal Institute in pursuit of her designation.

Michael is a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia with a
Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate. He has
over three years of appraisal experience, primarily residential,
but he has completed a sufficient amount of commercial work to
have become a State-Certified General Appraiser in 2004.
He is working toward his MAI designation, and he and his wife
just moved to Marietta from Athens.
Talani is a 1998 cum laude graduate of Kennesaw State University. She has
six years of appraisal experience, she's a Certified General
Appraiser, and she is on the DOT Roster of Approved Appraisers
(Level 2). Talani is active with the Atlanta Chapter of the
Appraisal Institute, serving as the 2004 Associate Membership
Committee Chair. Having spent 5 years with Childers Associates,
she has a broad background in condemnation, and will focus on
more lending assignments in pursuit of her MAI designation.
We are also pleased to announce that Syrah O. Paul, formerly a State-Certified
Residential Appraiser, just became State-Certified General
Appraiser.
