A Letter from Our President

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of G. Randall Hammond & Co.’s (“GRHCo”).  Founded as a sole-proprietorship in 1994, later incorporated in 1997, we have witnessed a tremendous change in the industry over the years.  While technology continues to drive market-information efficiency, we have held true to our core beliefs that valuation opinions cannot be rushed and primary research is critical to understanding and accuracy.

We are a practice-centered, strong-service firm where we see our profession and core values as a way of life and have a deep desire to serve others and produce examples of our discipline.  Our Purpose is simply to report accurate real estate values to our clients in a timely fashion.  Our Mission is to conduct superior due diligence, follow a rigorous appraisal process, and recruit, train, and employ the best appraisers in the market.

While we have been larger in the past, we have never been more experienced and seasoned.  Blessed to have touched a number of appraiser’s careers, we have never feared competition and are equally blessed to have long-term relationships with former colleagues who, today, represent the profession well.

We have been extremely fortunate to have carved out a niche in appraisal with clients that truly value our opinions, which make our work all that more rewarding.  Thank you to all of our clients, vendors, and suppliers for their support over the years.  Our longevity and present-day situation are a direct result of these partnerships and relationships.
